Students are being treated to a surprise in the Library this term. Not just home to books and computers, there is an army of caterpillars munching their way through lime leaves, creating their own home in a chrysalis and just today starting to emerge as beautiful Dainty Swallow-tail Butterflies!
Class 2P, in their Library class, enjoyed reading about the birth of a butterfly, looking at the caterpillars and chrysalis in the Library and then taking 'Jerry' the butterfly outside for his release into the garden, There were wonderful exclamations as Jerry spread his wings, familiarised himself with his surroundings and then fly high into the trees!
Thank you Mrs Scriven for making the Library come alive!!
