Wednesday 2nd June 2021 Year 11 Business Studies are on the cusp on launching their own business. With the $20 Boss Challenge scheduled to take place next term the class are deep in research around business models, marketing and what makes a business successful. Rav Banga from Bubbles n Tea, one of Wagga's favourite small businesses, paid the class a visit today, inspiring the students and helping them to be courageous as they venture into the business world. "Don't be scared", said Rav, "People want to help you to succeed. As you set up and grow your business you will always come across problems but there are no excuses. Establishing a business requires hard work." Rav shared his experiences setting up Bubbles n Tea during the challenging economic COVID environment. Despite sleepness nights as the launch of the business drew near Rav's good foundations, research and hard work paid off with Bubbles n Tea experiencing success from the first day of opening. What was the key to his success? * Mentorship - find some one who has done it all before. Listen to them. * Feedback - listening to your customers. Don't be afraid to make changes. * Reliance on God - hand it over to Him. We look forward to seeing what Year 11 Business Studies has in store in Term 3.
