September 2023 On a bitterly cold Friday the WWCC Cattle Team took five steers, heralding from Wirrabilla Fleckvieh & Angus Stud, to the Wagga Wagga Show to compete in the Junior Parading and Junior Judging competition. It was the first opportunity to show the animals and the team had great fun together. “The steers behaved well,” said Jemima Nugent, Year 12, “and it was great preparation for Royal Melbourne Show which is in just over a week’s time.” Not only was it a great day together but the team won a number of events and ribbons.
