CWWHSSA Open Soccer Competition

Term 3 2022 There was great anticipation prior to the whistle on Wednesday evening, for the opening matches of the Shipard and Creed Cups, the CWWHSSA Open Soccer Competition for 2022. The Open Boys team were taking on TRAC and knew it was going to be tight, while the Open Girls team were opposing Kooringal High and in preparation were working on their defensive line. Staff and parent support, Mrs Everingham, Mr Cunningham and Mr Michael Lucas, were an encouragement to both teams and we thank them for their wonderful efforts. The games were extremely exciting with the boys game goalless until close to the final whistle, while WWCC Girls were leading until Kooringal found the net to even the scores. Final results: Boys 0-1 to TRAC and Girls 1-1. An amazing effort all round and we look forward to the next round of games this coming Monday, 4:30 pm at Rawlings Park. Many thanks to Football Wagga for organising this competition. Follow the link to see the Daily Advertiser story!
