Defence Force Day
Students dressed as Navy, Army, Airforce & Special Forces competed in a number of activities which expanded their understanding of Defence.
Term 4, 2021 Middle School students dressed as Navy, Army, Airforce and Special Forces and competed in a gruelling obstacle course, tested their muscle under the guidance of the Military Police, participated in STEM activities and grew in their understanding of aircraft and job opportunities in the forces. This special day could not have been possible with out the wonderful support of the Australian Army Band Kapooka, the Military Police, Army and Airforce personnel and especially our wonderful Defence parents!! Thank you Eugene Rauber, Mitch Jones, Janette and Craig Wilcockson - your efforts were an inspiration. What a privilege to share a day of encouragement, teamwork and new experiences with our Defence families. Thank you for being part of the day. The Australian Army Band Kapooka filled the College with music for the second time in a week. Marching up into the Junior School quad and making the day of Mahar in Kindergarten who was celebrating his 6th birthday - the whole band played Happy Birthday just for him! Then the band was back down into the Senior Quad, defying the threatening rain and giving students a boost over their recess break. Thank you Kapooka for your partnership!
