Term 3, 2022 "Enjoy the journey and the process, the outcome will work itself out." Mr Chapman's words as he was encouraging Year 3 as they undertook the challenge of drawing flowers to add to their watercolour vases. With flowers budding and blossoming all around us the students are looking at God's creation in detail - the curve of every petal and leaf. "Have a good look at the petals of the daisy. Does it remind you of a propellor or a wind turbine? Consider the different shapes of the petals of the flowers in front of you." The students were surprising themselves in their creations and it was wonderful to hear them encourage each other with their efforts. Another sound piece of advice to finish, "Don't be too hard on yourself, you can always make modifications." Some things are an encouragement to all ages and stages.
