Friday 25 November 2022 Year 8 Technology Mandatory enjoyed designing, constructing and flying their bottle rockets at Friday's Golden Rocket Day. Timed construction sessions and a series of six flights allowed student teams to modify their rockets in an effort to improve their flight path. Congratulations to Team Radioactive whose rocket soared 88 metres!! Team Apollo 08's best flight for second place was 78.5m and Team Artemis came third with a flight of 69 metres. Other awards included: Prettiest Rocket: Fusion X Prettiest Flight: Airplanes B.O.B. for gently losing each rocket fin as it flew through the air.
