Term 2 Milly Bennett, Year 11, represented the College at the North West Equestrian Expo in Coonabarabran in early June. An 800 strong event, there were competitors who had come from across the State to represent their schools. It was Milly's first time attending the biggest high school Equestrian event in Australia and she had great fun and learnt a lot about how others ride and the finer points about competing in a wide range of events. Milly placed an impressive 10th in the Combined Training event which included both showjumping and dressage. She also competed in the Team Barrel event with other Wagga riders and the Polo Cross. "My main memory of the few days was how wet it was, there were trailers and floats getting bogged everywhere!" Find out more about this event here.
