Week 9, Term 4, 2022 The catapult challenge was Year 8's third Technology challenge as the 2022 school year comes to a close. Working in small teams students had to design, create and operate a catapult machine using paddle pop sticks, rubber bands and wood with the aim of flinging a ping pong ball across the classroom. Using physics around fulcrums, levers, forces and stresses teams succeeded in covering at least three meters with the ball.
