Term 3, 2022 What is a graphic designer? Students from Kindergarten to Year 4 can now answer this question from first-hand experience and gain knowledge and understanding of the role. Junior School students have been part of a 2-week workshop with local Graphic Designer/Digital Artist - Rach Viski (Minta Viski). Students learnt the language of graphic design in the initial ideation phase - such as fonts, styles, sketching, illustration and imagery, and the importance of colours and their collective and individual meaning. The students learnt the importance of God's unique design and had the opportunity to apply the practical elements to their design prototypes. Students have been working towards creating a unique product using best practice from a graphic design studio. We are excited to see the final products!
