Term 4 2022 A couple of weeks ago, Preschool were able to use their river for the first time since Winter! The children were very excited to immerse their feet and hands in the water. Water play enhances children’s gross and fine motor skills, develops co-ordination and balance, communication and sharing. The children worked together to move the rocks so that the water would flow and they carried water to the garden areas to make mud cakes. The children also added the trucks to this area and explored pouring and filling. Preschool is looking forward to more warm weather so they can play in the river again!
