Week 11 term 1, 2024 Year 1 had a fantastic time looking at and learning about the State Emergency Service (SES). A big thank you to Mr Troy Orellana (parent of August and Kennedy) and Mrs Linda Moore (College staff and grandmother of Silas) who offered their time to show Year 1 the boats and discuss their role within the SES. The children were thrilled to hop on board with a life vest. Students in Year 1 have been learning about materials and their changes - they've been crafting boats as part of their learning and this incursion extended their knowledge in this area.
