Tackling In the Rain and Mud

16 June 2022 The rain and the mud weren't keeping the girls down at the Rugby 7s Girls Gala Day at Conolly Park today. With two teams representing the College they put their heart into the games seeking to use every opportunity to gain ground. Congratulations to Senna and Bella for scoring tries. And to Olivia Mitchell and Liana Pitt being nominated as The Most Improved Players for their respective teams. "Today was a very positive day for the girls. The whole day they demonstrated a willingness to take on new challenges, continue to work on their skills, listen to the coaching and encourage their own team and others." commented a proud coach, Mr Trevor Gyles. "Congratulations to Southern Inland Rugby Union for their organisational efforts. It was a very enjoyable day." Massive thanks to Mr Greg Nugent, Mrs Toni Nugent, Mr Brendan Owers, Mrs Ali Owers, cheering parents and Teacher Coach Mr Trevor Gyles, for their efforts in coaching and supporting the teams today.
