Welcome the 2021 College Captains

September 2020 New Student Leaders, Vice-Captains and Captains for 2021 have been announced. Congratulations to the 17 Student Leaders, Olivia Weeks and Jack Rowley (Vice-Captains) and Katelyn Armstrong and Noah Tasker (Captains). The selection process is thorough and takes into account personal applications, interviews and surveys of support from staff and students. As our new leaders get ready to take up their roles next term, we say a special thank you to the current Student Leaders, along with Chenny Sabay and Christopher Van Honk (Vice-Captains) and Paul Anderson and Sophie Hutchinson (Captains). They have done an amazing job, in an unusual year when they had to work out how to be leaders in amongst COVID-19 restrictions. Get to know our new Captains:

Jack Rowley (Vice-Captain)
I am looking forward to the opportunities that this leadership position wil create, and to the connections that I will grow with the various year groups in the College. (Fun facts - my favourite subject is Art and I own a snow globe collection.)

Katelyn Armstrong (Captain)
I am looking forward to a positive, fun and productive year as Captain, and my aim is to inspire students and help create a positive atmosphere at the College where they are supported, and have a voice for their ideas. I am so grateful for this opportunity to demonstrate Christ’s love to the College community. (Fun facts - my favourite subject is English and I am enthusiastic about my ballroom dancing.)

Noah Tasker (Captain)
I’m most looking forward to giving back to the College that has helped to raise me for the last 12 years. I am looking forward to the Remembrance Day Service and thankful for all the extra effort that has gone into planning these events during this COVID season. (Fun facts - my favourite subjects are Agriculture and Design & Technology - it’s a tie! and I wake up at 4 in the morning, but I don’t know how interesting that is!)

Olivia Weeks (Vice-Captain)
I am really looking forward to contributing to such a nurturing community and working with younger students, and the morning teas of course! (Fun facts - my favourite subject is Art and I can do the Bridge card shuffle really well!)
