Week 10 Term 3, 2023 Year 2 had an amazing day at Altina Wildlife park during the last week of Term 3. They enjoyed the walk around the zoo first & saw crocodiles, lemurs, red pandas, monkeys, Tasmanian devils, wallabies & meerkats. They then went on the Safari carts around the Altina Wildlife part of the zoo. Students loved hearing about the facts from their zoo keepers and observing lots of animals, from mountain goats, American bison, rhinos, hyenas zebras, antelope, giraffes and lions. It was an incredible day for the students, lots of learning & memories made! Did you know zebras have black skin with white stripes and Antelopes can sprint 90km an hour?
