Most successful school, Hoof and Hook Grand Champion

13 October 2020 "An Absolute Standout” at Yea Hoof and Hook Trophy for the Most Successful School, Grand Champion Carcase, Reserve Grand Champion Steer - it is hard to go past the judge's remarks at the Hoof and Hook RASV Competition in Yea this year (the COVID stand-in for the Royal Melbourne Show) - "an absolute standout" is how the judge described the College winning steer 'Toto'. A massive congratulations to the Cattle Team who, just this week, received the final results of the Hook competition. Wins of Champion Carcase in the Domestic and Heavy Domestic sections of the second part of this competition resulted in the College winning Most Successful School by a margin of 19 points. Thanks go to the team that made it all possible - the student Cattle Team lead by Mrs Belinda Everingham, Tim Weller from Wellerlou for providing the steers, Evan Fryer of Wantabadgery for the feed and Falls Livestock Transport for carting the cattle to Yea. Well done all!
