2C's Eggcellent Chicks!

Week 7 Term 1, 2024

In Year Two, their focus this term is on the fascinating topic of ‘Living Things’! With the generous contribution from Mrs Skewes' neighbour, 2C were provided with fertilised eggs for their classroom incubator. 2C patiently awaited the 21 long days until their chick eggs finally hatched. Five chicks emerged and are now two weeks old. The students measured their wingspan and height, observing their remarkable growth.

Meanwhile, Mr Harrison is overseeing another batch of eggs in his incubator, which are hatching successfully. He gifted 2C with an additional eight eggs, resulting in thirteen chicks! The students are excited to nurture these new additions, ensuring they receive daily attention and care.
