Week 5 Term 1, 2024
Year 11 students took part in a day of workshops with motivational speaker Az Hamilton on Wednesday, exploring themes of leadership, passion and balance as they enter their final years of secondary schooling. Group challenges were used to illustrate the importance of working together towards common goals. Year 12 students joined for the second half of the day where our captains were able to speak about their goals and ideas for making our school a better place for everyone. Az was able to bring encouragement and perspective to the students through his stories about life and people, demonstrating how his Christian faith has been indispensable through many challenges. Some final advice that might benefit us all: sleep well, eat well, and spend time with God.
