Mrs Carly Johnson and Mr Brendan Colvin coached and supported the two mixed netball teams at the Netball NSW Fast 5 competition last Thursday. The Space Eagles were predominantly a Year 11 team with a sprinkling of Year 12s. The Year 12 Hyena team were keen to make the Grand finals again (after making it last year and just missing out on the big win). The students brought their A game, winning against teams like TRAC, Tumba and Temora. Both our teams made the semi-finals! The Space Eagles played hard but were defeated by Mater Dei’s all-girl team. The Hyenas made an awesome comeback in the second half against Temora. They made the Grand Final and came head-to-head against the Mater Dei girls, who were too strong on the day. The Hyenas came runner-up. What a day and what competition! Well done all!
