On Thursday Netball NSW held their annual Fast 5 competition for Year 11 and 12 teams across the Riverina. The College has participated in this for the last few years and has always done well. This year, our team dominated every game, winning each one!
The Finals had St Paul's, the reigning champions from two years ago, against Mater Dei, last year's champions. Their match ended in a draw, leading to extra time. We faced off against St Paul's in the Grand Final. It was a thrilling showdown, with our team showing excellent teamwork, supporting and cheering each other on, and working hard to get every goal and advantage. Our team won 20 to 12!
Congratulations team, not only for winning but for your commitment, teamwork, encouragement and sportsmanship. Other honourable mentions are Brenna Guilfoyle for her brilliant umpiring and Mr Colvin for giving up his time to volunteer with his exceptional coaching skills.
