During their regular crunch and sip time, the students were blessed with an immersive classical music experience from the flute ensemble. The ensemble played Go Tell It to The Mountain and Mozart’s famous Twinkle Twinkle. The immersive music experience promotes right and left-brain cohesion. Listening to music and playing musical games, helps children to use the various parts of their brains simultaneously. Music stimulates a child’s frontal lobes, which are important to both language and motor development. This was also a great opportunity for our flute ensemble to perform.
