Week 8 Term 1, 2024
KJ is buzzing with excitement as they begin the construction of their very own African jungle for their 'Living Things' unit! Earlier in the term, Mrs Joiner asked her class which living beings they were interested in learning about, and many of the students suggested various African animals, setting the course for the unit. Yesterday, the students enthusiastically painted the animals skillfully drawn by Mrs Bowen, quickly bringing their classroom jungle to life!
KJ has already learnt that elephant trunks are 2 metres long and that baby elephants drink 10 litres of milk every day!
