Term 1 2023
The overnight excursion to Sydney’s Museum of Applied Science ‘The Powerhouse’ to see the Shape 2022 exhibition was an excellent opportunity for senior students to see a select number of projects representing exemplary major works in subjects of Design and Technology and Industrial Technology. The students saw a variety of works from resin ergonomic resin flute keys made for those with limited hand movement, to a soft plastic compressing home appliance. Students also got to hear a lecture from a NESA senior marker and hear from a Sydney-based Industrial Designer about his design process. The experience held great value for current Year 11/12 students as they begin or continue the undertaking of their major projects.
