Limbering up in the cold at recess on Friday were keen sportsmen and women keen to test their skills at hitting the small white ball! Year 7 and 8 have been expanding their expertise in golf with the Pro from Wagga Wagga Country Club joining students for their sport lesson s over the last few weeks. To add to this opportunity Jack Newton Junior Golf (jnjg) visited the College with a golf simulator which gauged ball direction, speed, spin, and launch angles in 3 Dimensions. There was some significant competition amongst both staff and students as they sought to hit the longest drive. For many students it was the first time holding a golf club - they discovered it is harder than it looks!!
